Candy Jar

The candy jar was filled up today^^

More Annex Food

Army of bottles...

The inside...

And the outside...

I don't drink coke but I think the big gulp cup looks pretty cool.

I love Korean food!!!

Well, I love most food...everybody knows that^^
When we go to this restaurant (Soeul), this dish is what I always get. It's squid and vegetables stired fried with hot pepper sauce!

Rice and spicy soup.

I love these side dishes:)

Ryan's Contribution...

I walked into Ryan's office yesterday. I knew I would get quite a few pictures there. And there's what I came out with!

I only stole 2 pieces of chips after I took this picture...
I drink coffee with cream. No sugar.

Cherry Berry

Hmmm...Andy Warhol???

I'd never thought I'd put this on my blog...

Banana chips! From the Philipines!

Hmmm...Noodles...

I love noodles. And instant noodles are not as bad as people think. Here's how to make them delicious and nutritious.

  • Do not use the whole pack. I usually break them into four parts and use only three. You can keep the last part for later.
  • You put vegetables in them, and meat (if you eat meat), or eggs, or whatever you want.
  • Do not only rely on the seasoning packet that comes with the noodles. Add something else to suit your taste. I often add chili peppers, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, jalapenos, lemon juice, vinegar with chili, and sesame oil. (but maybe not all at the same time...)
And now time to enjoy!^^

New Year party food with Thai students

These are some of the pictures I took before and at the New Year party with the Thai students here.

Tammi was making some chocolate balls at my place. She said it was really easy. But I wouldn't know. My only job was eating them!^^

Here are the chocolate balls before we brought them to the party.

Tammi taught me how to make curry rice so I made this. It was pretty easy. You just need some green curry paste, rice, coconut milk, vegetables, meat (if you eat meat - I don't), and soysauce, fishsauce, sugar, etc, to taste.

Thai curry with fish balls. Very nice and spicy. You eat it with rice noodles, vegetables, and hard boiled eggs. Hmmm...

We put some of the food we brought on the living room table and we ate in front of the TV so we could count down to the year 2009!

This picture is blurry, but one of our desserts was this Thai custard with steamed bread. Yum!

Annex Food

Some food items I found in the Annex^^

I came back from my art class yesterday afternoon and Millie was eating some pumpkin seeds. She told me that you can actually eat the shell!

First I saw this...

And then I realized it was a big pile of tomato ketchup!

I brought a packet of macaroni and cheese for lunch one day, but I didn't bring a fork or a spoon with me. Good thing I always have a pair of chopsticks in my office so here it is! You know...you can actually eat macaroni and cheese with chopsticks!

Apple chips...

Inside the bag of apple chips...

There were some free cookies in the main office this afternoon (thanks to whoever brought them^^) so I took this one. The glaze on top had a lemony flavor which is very nice!!

Twinkies and Chocolate Milk!

Oh, my, this is really random...Anyway, I like Twinkies. 15o calories with completely zero nutrition! But I like it anyway...^^ The chocolate milk wasn't mine, by the way. I just wanted to take a picture of it. But milk is good. Calcium for the bones!
By the way, I'm gonna put all the sweet stuff under candy (as the label) so they'll be easy to find.

Mexican Food

We went to a Mexican restaurant last week (I don't remember the name of the restaurant). The yellow thing is cheese sauce. I don't remember the name of the dish I got, but it had a bunch of seafood in it and it was delicious! I went with a big group of people (RROAPS people), and I originally wanted to take pictures of all their food. But when I started taking pictures of these I decided that I should stop otherwise people were gonna think that I was crazy! I think I look crazy enough taking pictures of random food in the Annex (which I will post later).

Candy...food for the soul...

I took these pictures last week. Chocolate eggs and piggy faces. I don't drink or smoke so having a little bit of candy makes me happy. I know we should eat healthy for our body, but a little bit of candy a day definitely keep my frowny face away!
